The Albino Whitetail Deer

When you look at the albino whitetail deer, you see its indirect influence on societies. In a larger aspect, the whitetail deer itself plays a major role in hunting, which in turn affects the economy, an individual’s life, and societies.

The albino whitetail deer has become a symbol in many cultures, such as Native American tribes, due to how rare the animal is. Many trophy hunters have become infatuated with the albino deer in such a large manner that hunting the animal is now prohibited in several states.

Hunting has impacted societies for millions of years. In its beginning, nomadic lifestyles used hunting as a means for survival. Wild game was used for clothing, trading goods, tools, and food. In modern times, however, hunting has become a highly regulated sport or leisure activity that affects the lives of many individuals. Hunting impacts our national economy by providing a large sum of money from purchases on gas, to hotel stays, and gear like ammo and rifles.
